BLR WORLD is a human resources and operational enabler for Country Pavilions and other Public and Private Exhibitors seeking to participate at the Osaka Expo 2025 in Japan.

We have invested in the creation of a specialist team bringing together a unique knowledge and experience of both World Expos and Japan itself. Our team includes local Japanese “captains of industry”, a former Trade Commissioner, the ex-Director General of Japan House London, Pavilion Directors from Expo 2020 and the founders of Barker Langham, the world’s leading cultural consultancy firm.

Our local operation, called BLR Japan, has been incorporated, with headquarters in Tokyo and an operational office in Osaka, Kansai region. Our strategic partners and alliances include the very biggest and best of local Japanese companies and expertise.

We offer a holistic suite of bespoke service solutions, based on international best-practice, which have been designed exclusively for Expo 2025 participants and are supported by significant “on-the-ground” delivery capabilities in Osaka.

In 2021, BLR WORLD was selected by Expo Dubai to deliver educational tours for universities and school groups across the main thematic pavilions. We were also appointed to recruit specialist media, communications and broadcast staff for Expo, and we are appointed by Global Affairs Canada to provide all visitor experience and protocol staff for the Canada Pavilion. Overall, our team recruited and trained over 1000 members of staff for a variety of operational functions and country pavilions at Expo.

In 2023, BLR WORLD achieved remarkable milestones during EXPO 2023 in Qatar, leaving a lasting impact on both visitors and collaborators. A key accomplishment includes the comprehensive training of 150 hosts to deliver outstanding service while assisting visitors, in collaboration with Qatar Tourism. Furthermore, BLR WORLD played a pivotal role in supporting the UAE pavilion at EXPO 2023, offering a range of services, including merchandise provision, security personnel, qahwa servants, and cleaners.
